This Saturday the UFC will be going live from the State Farm Arena in Hidalgo, Texas as UFC Fight Night 94 takes place on free TV. This card is great when I take a look at the betting lines, mainly because these Fight Nights are used as a proving ground for the lesser known fighters on the UFC roster.
When I dig down into this card moving past the three main event fights, Michael Johnson vs. Dustin Poirier, Uriah Hall vs. Derek Brunson and Rick Glenn vs. Evan Dunham you start to see some very nice ways to make some money.
I know I said we are going to have to move past the three main fights to start making money on this card but for the readers who are looking for a sure thing they should focus on the Rick Glenn vs. Evan Dunham contest. Evan Dunham is a seasoned UFC Veteran and should handle Rick Glenn in his Octagon Debut. Dunham is a heavy favourite in this fight being a -310 ($10.00 = $3.23) but someone looking for a sure thing should put money down on Dunham.
Now its time to start making some money on this card, looking further down the list of fights we find the contest between Augusto Montano (15-2) vs. Belal Muhammad (9-1). This contest is going to steal the undercard and maybe the whole event, Montano has 10 KO’s in his MMA career and Muhammad made a great showing for himself in a Fight of the Night bout against Alan Jouban in July.
Both of these fighters seem to have what it takes to compete in the UFC and seeing such lopsided odds makes me focus in and compare these fighters even more to see if these odds are deserved. When I got done comparing and contrasting these two fighters careers and statistics I find that the +345 ($10.00 = $34.50) line that Augusto Montano is getting is well worth the risk.
I really like this card for my parlay because there are so many tight bouts that I have strong feelings about. I have a four pick parlay that has a payout of $108.48 with a $10.00 wager.
I like Evan Dunham with -310 (like I stated earlier), Sam Sicilia on the undercard at -170, the headliner Michael Johnson at a +135 and under 2.5 rounds +140 in the bout between the knock out artists Uriah Hall and Derek Brunson.
